Meet: Erika Paramo

Getting to Know Erika Paramo
Client Fuffillment & Events Manager, InMaricopa

If you’ve attended a community event, seen InMaricopa out around town, or connected with local businesses, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Erika Paramo. As InMaricopa’s , Client Fuffillment & Events Manager Erika brings energy, creativity, and a strong sense of community into everything she does.

Originally from San Diego, California, Erika made Maricopa home in 2021 and quickly grew to love the city’s welcoming atmosphere and close-knit feel.

For Erika, one of the best parts of living in Maricopa is the community connection. She enjoys meeting neighbors and seeing familiar faces at local events throughout the year. While she’d love to see more grocery options come to town, she’s optimistic about Maricopa’s growth and future.

Family is at the center of Erika’s world. She shares life with her husband, Victor, and their two bonus daughters, Kareena and Jessie, along with a large extended family that keeps life full and fun. Their household also includes quite the crew of pets: five huskies — Ayton, Nova, Booker, Kendall, and Coco — plus two cats, Amaya and Buldak, and even a couple of fish. They’re also proudly a Honda-Nissan family, known locally for their memorable SKADUSH (inspired by Kung Fu Panda) license plate on their 2023 Nissan Titan.

When she’s not working, Erika enjoys baking, arts and crafts with the kids, party planning, movies, and beach getaways. Her dream vacation destination is Greece, where she hopes to experience the scenery, culture, and coastal views.

A few of Erika’s favorites:

  • Charity: The Jed Foundation
  • Book: I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
  • Movie Series: Harry Potter
  • Musician: Demi Lovato
  • Song: When you see me by Zach Top
  • Food: Chilaquiles
  • Drink: Iced tea or matcha
  • Favorite Meal: Pot roast with potatoes
  • Sports Teams: Chargers & Padres
  • Athletes: Phillip Rivers and Tony Gwynn

And one quote Erika loves captures her outlook well:

“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: It goes on.” — Robert Frost

Through her work and involvement in the community, Erika continues to help make Maricopa feel a little smaller, friendlier, and more connected every day.
