Getting to know Timothy Curtis
Pest Control Bros
Timothy has been a Maricopan since 2011, he calls The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado home and has built a life centered on community and connection. When asked what he loves most about Maricopa, his answer came quickly: his church family at Faith Baptist and the relationships that have grown there over the years.
Family plays a huge role in his story. Together with his wife, they are raising 11 children, making for a full house and plenty of memorable moments. Completing the family lineup is their dog, Chester, who helps keep life entertaining.
When he’s not spending time with family, you’ll likely find him enjoying hobbies that blend creativity and relaxation. He enjoys 3D printing and fishing, and if you spot two Nissan Frontiers around town, there’s a good chance they belong to this busy household.
Although Maricopa is home, there’s one destination still on his travel wish list: the Netherlands, where he was born. Visiting his birthplace remains his dream vacation and a meaningful place he hopes to return to someday.
His favorites say a lot about who he is—supporting the charity Faith Like Potatoes, enjoying the humor and heart of Robin Williams, listening to “How Many Kings” by Downhere, and appreciating music from The Katinas. Sports fans might appreciate that he cheers for the Dallas Cowboys and counts Shaquille O’Neal among his favorite athletes.
When it comes to food, he keeps it simple: sushi is at the top of the list, with Olive Garden as a favorite place to enjoy a meal. And for a getaway closer to home, Lake Tahoe tops the list.
The words he lives by capture his outlook on life:
“Fight the good fight of faith.”
A message rooted in perseverance, purpose, and staying true to what matters most.
